Responsibilities Support Producers as the main contact point for your team in sales, marketing, and client service for renewals and new business. Attend sales meetings with Producers as needed. Manage a portfolio of selected accounts, delivering high-level expertise and service to clients. Serve as a backup for Account Managers within your team during their absences, ensuring continuity and support. Lead by example, diligently following procedures and providing feedback on process enhancements when appropriate. Conduct team meetings and random checks to verify team compliance with procedures and timeliness in handling tasks like renewals and certificates. Mentor Account Managers offering guidance on workload prioritization and serving as an information source on insurance coverage inquiries. Support training of new and current team members on procedures. Oversee and coordinate activities involved in updating insurance policies, adjusting policy provisions according to client specifications, and communicating premium rate changes to clients.

Qualifications Associate's degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience/training, or a combination of both. Ability to understand and interpret policy and contract documents. Proficiency in calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and area. Proficient use of software products such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Sagitta, and ImageRight/WorkSmart is required. Mandatory possession of a Property & Casualty License; additionally, a CIC Certificate and/or CISR Certificate must be obtained upon hiring.
