As a CDL-A Truck Driver at Hogan1, you will showcase your skills in a dynamic environment where every mile and every load contributes to our ongoing success in the transportation industry. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to transport goods, materials, or equipment to and from specified destinations. Adhere to company safety policies and regulations, as well as all federal, state, and local regulations concerning the transportation industry. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance planning. Plan routes efficiently and manage schedules to meet delivery deadlines. Document and log work/rest periods, miles spent driving, and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Report defects, accidents, or violations timely and in a detailed manner. Handle paperwork related to each load and communicate effectively with dispatch and support staff. Proven work experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.). Physical endurance to handle significant load requirements.
