Civil Project Engineer

The Civil Project Engineer will work closely with a team of staff engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting design and construction projects. Essential Functions-What You Will Do To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Use AutoCAD Civil 3D as a design tool to: (i) prepare engineering drawings and related graphics; (ii) perform calculations; and (iii) integrate with other engineering software. Use engineering software to prepare calculations supporting: (i) stormwater management, hydrology, and drainage designs; (ii) slope stability evaluations; (iii) and other design projects. Assist with the preparation of technical reports, data tables, specifications, and other deliverables. Provide construction quality assurance services and other field services on construction projects. Perform environmental sampling and data analysis, including the collection of air, water and soil samples, and in-situ testing of these media. Coordinate with project team members and clients. Deliver value Do you strive for excellence and like to help others succeed? Competencies-What We Are Looking For 2-4 years relevant experience and possess a BS in Civil Engineering. Proficiency in using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Experience with site civil engineering, grading, stormwater design, and pipe layout is desired. Demonstrate strong quantitative and observational skills. Solid attention to detail and technical understanding is required. Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities. Client-service orientation with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver to meet expectations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Position Type-What You Should Know Full-time position. Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexible daily hours. Hybrid position with 2 - 3 days in the office. Located in the Denver, CO area. Must reside in the United States. Pay The salary range for this position is $67k to $77k/year and is commensurate with experience.
