Trade Compliance Specialist will be responsible to ensure all import and export regulations are properly followed. Review and improve trade compliance processes of company. Support all business divisions with trade compliance questions and identify cost savings wherever possible. Job Duties

Classify products under the US HTS Regulations. Work with our scientific solutions division to ensure proper HTS classification as well as country of origin determination are accurate. Ensure our databases are updated with the accurate classifications and records. Manage Customs Broker inquiries. Perform analysis and provide information and prepare any needed documentation pertaining to Section 301 applicability, FDA, TSCA, anti-dumping/countervailing duty applicability etc. Assist in the audit of export and import transactions. Troubleshoot EEI filing with supply chain personnel and highlight any concerns to management, ensure proper records are kept in compliance with regulations and Evident Scientific, Inc. policies. Management and maintenance of records related to import/export rulings. Assist and work with Manager to develop and provide training pertaining to import/export requirements. Support Restricted Part Screening activity. Provide assistance with: Classification (HTS, EAR/CCL, ITAR/USML, Recordkeeping, Valuation, Country of Origin) and other areas. Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain Experience:

5-7 years of experience in trade compliance with a specific emphasis in the Export and import Regulations. Proficient with the Microsoft Office platform, NetSuite Visual Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian Trade Regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a highly organized, self-managed individual who works independently with minimum supervision and the ability to work in fast paced environment. Ability to analyse technical data.
