Create manufacturing work instructions; assist with design improvements and problem solving for manufacturing issues (production methods and procedures). Utilizes analytical skills for capacity analysis, tool and equipment utilization as well as line balancing.Performs trend analysis of shop performance measures to identify opportunities for improvements.Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services.Optimize the process for both detail and assembly level manufactured parts or products, or deliver supporting services, with maximum efficiency.Work with internal customers and management to develop standards for design and production.Perform technical studies and conduct analysis of operations (existing or proposed). Ensure deliverable quality standards are met.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
