At Mohawk, our people make the difference. We are currently looking for a Manager of Human Resources to plan, develop and direct the implementation of the Company's strategic human resources goals and objectives for our Pad and Cushion operations..

What you'll do:

  • Act as a strategic consulting partner on the HR management team, assisting with the development of Human Resources strategic, long-range goals and initiatives
  • Develop, direct and oversee the implementation and interpretation of a full range of Human Resources policies and activities in accordance with the organization's strategic goals and legal requirements
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and "best practices" related to Human Resources and Organizational Development and their impact to the company and recommend policy changes and process improvements to achieve business goals and ensure continued regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with divisional leadership to identify HR needs and areas of improvement and direct the overall management and administration of the Division's HR programs and activities
What you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible diverse HR management experience, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement
    Experience within HR function leading multi-site front line workforce
  • Extensive, in-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, procedures and practical application governing the functions of Human Resources

  • Communicating and negotiating effectively with internal and external customers
  • Diffusing conflict using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods while maintaining professionalism and adhering to corporate standards
