Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of accounting experience, great interpersonal skills, and strong problem-solving skills. This company offers growth opportunities and a hybrid work environment.

The salary range for this position is $60k-75k.

The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
  • Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly internal financial packages and external reporting.
  • Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.
  • Reconciles cash disbursements accounts, payroll, customer accounts and other financial accounts.
  • Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing internal control compliance reviews.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
The Accountant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of accounting experience.
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
