Job Title: Carpenter Foreman

Job Description

Responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures, fixtures, and other items using different types of materials including wood and steel. This role involves self-performing all aspects of carpentry, such as rough carpentry, finish carpentry, steel stud work, and cabinetry.
Responsibilities
  • Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions.
  • Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
  • Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.
  • Utilize chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to repair and erect structures.
  • Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
  • Check work along the way to ensure it's up to code and specifications.
  • Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure.
  • Install cabinets and molding.
  • Create structures for pouring concrete.
  • Install partitions, doors, and windows.
Essential Skills
  • 3-5 years of commercial carpentry experience (validated with references).
  • Ability to estimate dimensions and work with various materials.
  • Proficiency in using carpentry tools and joining materials.
  • Experience in working with blueprints and ensuring projects meet specifications.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites.
Hours
  • 6:30 - 3pm
  • OT as project needs - sometimes work 10 hour days
  • Each site can determine their start time, but these are the typical hours
  • Monday-Friday
