Position Overview:

We currently have a Compliance Specialist position available in Orange, CA 92867. The position is an exempt level role that requires the use of independent judgment and decision-making skills as well as educational expertise to maintain compliance of the regulatory requirements of their assigned properties. Compliance Specialist works under General Supervision of the Department Director. This role is responsible for supervision, training, and employment recommendations of assigned Community Managers with regard to compliance reporting and activities. These duties are a usual and customary part of the role.

The position is based at our Home Office in Orange, CA and requires the Compliance Specialist to travel to properties in Los Angeles County.

Solari Enterprises, Inc. is a full-service property management company that specializes in multifamily affordable housing.

Required Qualifications: 2 years of direct experience with Section 42 (Tax Credit) and/ or Section 8 is required or; Experience from Mortgage, Insurance, or Financial industries working with compliance and regulations will have transferable skills that will be considered Must exhibit professional appearance compatible with company image, positive attitude, energetic, assertive, and capable of being a role model for subordinates Must be able to travel to properties in Los Angeles County Must be detail oriented Ability to interact with a wide range of personalities Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be computer literature Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Reliable transportation Valid Driver's license Must have proof of Auto Insurance

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred Yardi software knowledge a plus

We prefer Team Member to possess the following certifications or are able to attain them after their introductory period is completed: CPO Certification- Section 8 only SHCM Designation- Section 42 only RAM Certification or similar certification FHC ( Fair Housing Coordinator) Certification

Compensation: $30 hourly Paid Holidays, Vacation and Sick Time Medical, Dental, Vision, and life Matching 401k
