The Benefit Manager should have a highly detailed understanding and expertise of health insurance products in this line(s) of business, providing support and thought-partnership to all stakeholders and team members supporting the successful annual product development life cycle and delivery of the portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

o Define plan benefits per strategic intent and determine related business requirements for portfolio planning and execution.

o Assess impact of medical policy, claims processing, pricing and billing, configuration, etc on benefit design

o Develop and maintain product data source of truth, customization guidelines and business decisions to support organizational process and regulatory requirements

o Detailed benefit support for member documentation content development, review and publication.

o Preparation of benefit plan documentation to support regulatory filing

o Audit benefit information internally and externally (such as member materials, marketing materials and websites) to ensure benefits are accurately represented across all channels

o Support the successful annual life-cycle and delivery of the portfolios as well as group specific requests

-3 years in healthcare insurance either as a Benefits Manager/Benefits Administrator

- If in an Administrator role, must have an interest to take the next step in your career as well as portray previous management of benefit projects/material

* If no healthcare insurance, must have 5+ years' in another insurance setting (home, auto, loan, etc.)

-Proficiency with MS Word and Excel

-Project management skills, exceptional organization, and problem solving skills

-Must have experience working with cross functional teams across different lines of businesses

-Understanding of insurance claims
