**Description**

The Regional Safety Security Manager is a remote position that reports to Sr. Director Safety & Security North America and has oversight of safety and security in all aspects of the operation.

Regional Safety & Security Manager, is responsible for the safety training of all local Safety Managers. This includes primary responsibility for the following:

* Ensure business partners safety standards are observed, monitored, and practiced consistently

* Foster and maintain a strong partnership with the PrimeFlight leadership team and necessary external safety organization.

* Ensure all non-compliance events are reported, managed, documented, and associated reports reviewed.

* Assist station management teams in developing corrective action plans as required.

* Input and assess regional PrimeFlight reports, observations, and events using the PrimeFlight Database

* The liaison with leadership to ensure continual awareness and effectiveness of mitigation strategies

* Co-chair the Regional Safety Committee to define and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) for low/moderate risk items

* Participate in the Company Safety Committee to assist in defining and implementing CAPs for high-risk exposure items

* Support site management in assessing team safety and quality performance and compliance

* Ensure Safety policy and procedures are effectively implemented in the applicable region

* Ensure self-audits are conducted on regular basis.

* Track and trend root causes identified during investigations and self-audit findings as related to safety and ensure corrective measures to address root cause as well as means to verify effectiveness.

* Assist applicable site management with new hire safety training and ensure that OJT is accomplished in alignment with company SOPs and safety policies

* Maintain a high level of knowledge of customer-specific requirements and expectations in assigned region to effectively incorporate into team training and assessments

* Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards

* Carry out other duties as assigned

**Competency:**

* Ability to inspire others in order to drive proactive reporting, compliance, and success

* Previous Safety Management experience and/or formal training (helpful/preferred)

* Aviation maintenance, management, or similar technical industry experience (preferred)

* Selfsufficient, functional level, data management/IT skills (prerequisite)

**Travel:**

* Be available and ready to travel 75% of the time

**Qualifications:**

**General Qualifications:**

* 18 years of age

* Eligible to work in the United States

**Education/Experience:**

Associates degree and three years experience. Associates degree or high school diploma or equivalent may be substituted with five or more years relevant experience in the training environment.

**Certificates and Licenses:**

Valid Drivers License with a clean and verifiable driving record.

**Language Ability:**

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to communicate effectively in English.

**Reasoning Ability:**

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

**Computer Skills:**

Intermediate knowledge is required in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, organize training schedules, and perform other training-related tasks.

**Supervisory Responsibilities:**

This job requires the supervision of all training staff.
