Residential property managers will NOT be considered. Must be able to capably oversee the operations and administrative responsibilities associated with commercial property management including industrial property.

The position of commercial assistant property manager is hands-on and customer service focused and is a unique opportunity for a commercial assistant property manager to step into a higher role overseeing commercial/industrial properties.

As a commercial assistant property manager, you must have the ability to establish positive relationships with vendors, contractors and building tenants. Must also possess excellent communication skills with the ability to diplomatically resolve any escalated issues.

The commercial assistant property manager should also have working knowledge of fit-ups and buildouts and possess a solid understanding of property maintenance and the need for follow up.

Commercial Assistant Property Manager / Some Property Manager Responsibilities:

- Manage tenant relations, including addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner

- Conduct regular property inspections

- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs

- Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities

- Should be visible around the properties and with the building tenants

- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, vendors, and tenants

- Perform corporate reporting tasks

- Answer phone calls professionally and follow up as needed

- Document issues of importance

Commercial Assistant Property Manager - Selected Requirements:

- Previous experience in commercial property management as a commercial assistant property manager

- Knowledge of property maintenance practices and procedures

- Familiarity with building systems, maintenance related issues, fit-ups and buildouts

- Excellent customer service skills

- Proficient using property management software in addition to MS Office including Excel and Outlook

- Excellent communication skills

- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Focused on tenant retention and high-level customer service
