Job Title: Software Validation Engineer
Duration: 12+Months Contract
Location: Southfield, MI ( Onsite )

Description:
Autosar and Virtual ECU are key skills.
  • Under limited supervision, interpret HW team requirement (microcontroller and peripheral IC configuration, component IC diagnostic, Communication setting, port assignment, schematics etc), understand embedded software design for software modules and components
  • Develops and defines embedded software test strategies and plans
  • Develops the test script (i.e, Python) in virtualization platform and performs bench testing using tools to analyze vehicle communication protocols and hardware signal input/output (i.e. oscilloscope, multi-meter, etc...)
  • Performs apple to apple test (physical IOA vs. virtualization of IOA)
  • Reports test results to the Validation Lead explaining the pass/fail rationale when it is not obvious.
  • Performs first-level investigation to provide Software Developer some direction to find the detailed root cause.
Job Responsibilities
Perform as a Software Validation Engineer to complete software validation and ensure a high-quality software/product delivery to the customer.
