The
HR Generalist
will be responsible for supporting HR across various functions, including employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, training and development, and HR administration to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department.
The ability to work autonomously and efficiently is critical to the success of this partner. The ideal candidate desires to be of service to people, has a strong working knowledge of HRIS systems (Paylocity knowledge is preferred) and wants to contribute toward the attainment of goals and results of the HR department.
Supervisory Responsibilities
:Non
eDuties/Responsibilities
:*Establish and maintain a positive and visible HR presence among all employees
.*Collaborates with and provides advice to managers on employee relations to ensure consistency, effectiveness and compliance
.*Develop and coordinate new hire orientation sessions
.*Full-cycle onboarding process
.*Offboarding processes, including exit interviews and paperwork
.*Generate internal documents such as offer letters, comp change forms, employee agreements and policies
.*Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS system and employee files, ensuring compliance with recordkeeping requirements
.*Manage leave of absence process, communication with employees and forms
.*Assist with data entry, updates, and audits of employee information
.*Respond to unemployment claims and inquiries
.*Assist with benefits open enrollment processes and coordinate communication with employees
.*Respond to employee inquiries and questions related to policies and procedures, complaints, leave, compensation, employee experience
.*Respond to 401(k) employee inquiries, work with TPA on withdraw/loan requests and reporting as needed
.*Assist with ESOP administration
.*Assist with benefits-related paperwork and documentation
.*Support HR programs and initiatives, such as employee engagement activities, performance management processes, and training programs
.*Coordinate logistics for HR events, meetings, and training sessions
.*Assist with the development and distribution of HR communications and materials
.*Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and preparing correspondence
.*Act as backup for Payroll as needed
.*Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned
.
