Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Supports project lead(s) on new product introduction (NPI) projects and may identify deliverables to support on-time completion and product quality for one's own area of work; identifies and communicates quality and compliance data to project team, with oversight. Tracks product life cycle status and assists with straightforward changes from new product introduction (NPI) to product obsolescence to facilitate proper identification and disposition of materials, with oversight. Supports compliance with supplier quality requirements by providing support for conducting supplier quality audits and assessments, with oversight; escalates supplier quality issues to manager. Updates quality process documents and instructions based on feedback from superiors, with oversight. Supports the implementation of quality management systems (QMS) to improve process integration, lower costs, and reduce waste, with oversight. Supports continuous quality improvement processes through

corrective/preventive

action, lessons learned, and identifying improvement opportunities, with oversight. Prepares and updates quality and product documentation, with oversight. Works primarily with team and small functional groups to support the introduction of new products and track product manufacturability and quality, with guidance.
