Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce strict adherence to coding standards, and optimize code for maximum efficiency and minimal resource usage. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing disruption to operations and service delivery. Engage closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions that effectively meet business objectives. Stay abreast of the latest SFCC platform features and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team. Qualifications for the Position A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree; or experience commiserate with education A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) developer. Demonstrates a very high degree of proficiency in SFCC (SFRA) development. Proficiency in NodeJS, and JavaScript, for both front-end and back-end development. Experience with CSS (SASS) for UI development, with a keen eye for aesthetics and user-friendly interfaces. Solid understanding of SFCC architecture, data models, and OCAPI (Open Commerce API). Solid understanding of edge (CDN), front-end and back-end caching strategies. Secure development practices i.e., handling PII data, front-end (XSS) and back-end (CSRF tokens). Excellent working knowledge of client-side and server-side performance profiling tools and services. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, facilitating effective team dynamics and cross-departmental collaboration. Experience with other Salesforce products (Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Interaction Studio, etc.) preferred.
