Our purpose is to build a better world through the power of play. We enable millions to create and play together, connect people across the globe, and foster a community that is among the most active and passionate in the world. Our community is global and incredibly diverse. When we are developing anything within our franchise, we keep this in mind. We want everyone to not only feel included, but also to see themselves in what we make. Our goal is for the team to be as diverse as our community. With over 176M copies sold, our game inspires a passionate community of millions to create amazing things together. In addition to being one of the most widely played games of all time, our game is a transformational learning tool. Our Consumer Products team plays a critical role spreading the world of our game beyond the game by identifying unique collaboration opportunities with world-renowned brands that surprise and delight our fans. We are seeking a full-time Social Media Manager with a passion for gaming and pop culture that has a background working for or with culture-defining consumer products (FMCG/CPG) and/or retail brands. In this role, you will partner with our licensing, consumer products, and beyond the game team(s) to create social strategy and creative campaigns that engage fans on social media platforms and promote partnerships with third-party IPs. This role reports to the Head of Social Media and its primary responsibility is to strategize, write, and create content for collaborations. You’ll also manage content calendars, scheduling, and posting on our channels, as well as monitoring analytics and creating reports. You’ll work closely with marketing, community, product, and external partners, so cross-functional experience in large, matrixed organizations is required. We are seeking an energetic, creative self-starter with superb communication skills. Other competencies include a familiarity with the game (preferred but not required), understanding of current social media trends, and ability to skillfully drive community growth and engagement. Responsibilities: Design and implement breakthrough “beyond the game” social media strategies and campaigns that creatively connect our diverse and global audience with our external/collaboration partners in a social-first, engaging way. Ensure that consumer products/partner co-created content is aligned with the game’s overarching brand, tone of voice, and social strategy. Define consumer product social media priorities, goals, and targets that are aligned to business goals and audience insights. Provide strategic recommendations and support for the Creative Team in conceptualization and execution of assets for social media. Host content ideation and team brainstorms, often with our partners’ social teams. Ideate and publish social content and engage with audiences. Curate user-generated content and identify potential influencers, creators, and customer voices to highlight and work with. Track and report on channel and content performance, setting benchmarks and contributing to campaign reporting dashboards. Required Skills: 3-5+ years of experience in social media strategy planning, goal setting, and implementation. CPG and/or Retail experience, either direct or via a creative agency, is required. Experience working in the gaming sector is a plus, but CPG and/or Retail background is mandatory. Experience managing high-volume social media channels for a well-known brand or product, ideally a brand that is considered to be at the forefront of culture. Understanding of community engagement and audience strategy. Familiarity using data to adjust and optimize strategy and activations for community-facing channels, and report and communicate channel performance results. Excellent collaboration, copywriting, and communication skills. English language proficiency is required. Competent with productivity software and analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, and native social media analytics experience preferred). The target hiring compensation range for this role is $49.50 to $55.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. #J-18808-Ljbffr
