The Marketing and Communications function drives unified marketing, communications, and design strategies across the company that help us leverage and enhance the strength of our brand for independent distributor members, manufacturer supplier partners, associates, and other stakeholders, enabling our shared mission to grow and prosper.

The Marketing & Communications Specialist will support the external marketing of AD in direct connection to AD’s business development goals, through the development of creative multi-media marketing tactics.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop business development materials including pitch decks, videos, brochures, case studies, and more. Own the maintenance of the business development materials library, ensuring materials are up-to-date, accurate, and complete. Communicate marketing materials availability internally to cross-functional teams. Build a photography schedule for key images that need to be captured annually including but not limited to headshots, board and committee photos, leadership team photos, and events (internal and external). Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure images are captured, stored, and readily accessible. Develop a video production calendar and drive the creation of videos including creative briefs, coordinating interviews, and filming. Collaborate with Jr. Graphic Designer for video editing. Ensure the video library is maintained and updates are regularly communicated to cross-functional teams. Collaborate with the VP of Organizational Effectiveness & Collaboration on the production of Heroes & Happenings, AD’s internal associate “town hall”. Own the webinar support, panelist communications, slide development, and rehearsals. Drive the marketing of AD’s Disaster Relief Foundation including website content, videos, brochures, communications, and more. Build an inventory of co-branded items such as swag, banners, and other merchandise for AD’s members. Contribute to the development of advertising campaigns and email marketing materials for the purposes of business development. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience supporting product or services marketing. Strong multi-tasker with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines with accuracy. Must be able to develop a keen understanding of AD’s brand voice and develop content that aligns with that voice. Strong project management and organizational skills. Experience in video and photography production or coordination. Fluent in Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint (editing slide master, animations, embedding videos, incorporating graphics, etc.) Must be able to understand how singular marketing materials feed into the overall AD brand experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and upbeat, enthusiastic, and positive attitude. Keen attention to detail and strong decision-making skills. Ability to collaborate and gain consensus at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education. Three to five years of marketing experience preferred, ideally in a product marketing role.

Additional Comments:

Travel: Up to 10% annually Business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. although work outside these hours may be required The position is based out of our corporate office in Wayne, PA, where we have a hybrid work schedule (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays in office with Mondays and Fridays remote)
