SummaryPrepare surfaces, prime, sand, seal, clean, and paint manufactured products utilizing all types of painting material such as water base paint, exopy paint, etc.Mix paint and solution, regulate temperatures, and move painted items to drying racks.Finish coated surfaces by polishing with sandpaper, pumice, rouge, was, or other finishing materials.Apply proper enamel or lacquer finish per customer specifications.Operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment.Perform activities planned by others.Communicate internally with contacts outside the work group to exchange work related information.Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with Rexnord policies, 5S procedures, and in line with Rexnord core values.Other duties as assignedQualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 0- 2 years of experience in paintingEffectively communicate and work in a team environment.Knowledge of and ability to use basic painting skills to adapt to procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to meet the more advanced requirements of the position.
