As a Qualcomm Hardware Systems Engineer, you will design a complete framework or system that influences the shaping of state-of-the-art mobile, edge, auto, AR/VR, compute, IOT, wearable products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, software, testing teams, etc.) to identify hardware testing needs and integrate components into products or systems.

Leverages Hardware Systems knowledge to design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, other hardware systems, and/or electrical engineering applications. Contributes to defining processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output, and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility. Conducts specialized analyses (e.g., feasibility studies, signal integrity, power integrity, equipment) to establish operating data and specifications. Develops system features and components to identify potential flaws or compliance issues and finds solutions. Contributes to subsystem discussion of chipset design and develops and modifies schematics, design layouts, testing. Collaborates with manufacturing POCs to fabricate hardware, conducts verification of subsystem or design, and ensures platform is compatible and supported by appropriate systems requirements.
