West Chester, United States Pediatric Therapeutic Service Inc Full time

PTS, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based, virtual, and itinerant services for a local school district in West Chester, PA: Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below. • Full-time or part-time available; hours fall within a normal school day and will vary depending on primary and secondary caseloads. • This position will be for the 24-25 school year. • Great district and supportive, interdisciplinary team • No nights or weekends. Responsibilities: • Implement specialized therapy treatment, techniques, and instruction in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) of students being served. • Screen, evaluate, and write reports on student levels, strengths, needs, and progress using approved testing and assessment instruments. • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and multi-disciplinary team meetings to evaluate student needs/progress and to develop and/or revise individualized therapy interventions, objectives, and goals. • Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement classroom-based activities and instructional techniques to ensure carry-over of learning. • Provide consultative services to parents in the therapy program of their child. • Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports in compliance with deadlines, confidentiality laws, federal and state laws, State Board of Education regulations, and school administrative policies and procedures. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of research, theories, and practices associated with school-based therapy.
