Description

Phlebotomist/ Medical Assistant needed for busy Family Practice in North Edmond

Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Checking in and rooming patients.
  • Assisting with injections/immunizations.
  • Obtaining and documenting vitals while preparing patient to be seen by physician.
  • Assisting physician as needed with examinations, medication refills and triage patient calls with test results.
  • Performing routine phlebotomy procedures
  • Draw blood and perform nose and throat swabs
  • Collect samples and ensure all samples are properly labeled
  • Filing reports and correspondence in charts.
  • Enter patient information into EHR.
  • Administrative duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and possible medical scribing if needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 2 years as a Medical Assistant preferred
  • Phlebotomist experience preferred
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (Epic) a plus
  • Must be reliable
  • Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required (GED)
