By equipping employees with the necessary skills and knowledge, they contribute to the smooth flow of goods through the distribution network.

Training Program Development:

  • Collaborate with Operations Leadership and Subject Matter Experts to identify training needs and objectives.
  • Contribute to the design of comprehensive training programs encompassing various aspects of distribution processes, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping procedures, and warehouse safety.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials such as manuals, presentations, videos, and interactive modules.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for distribution staff, both in group settings and one-on-one sessions.
  • Utilize a variety of training methods and tools to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
  • Monitor trainee progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure comprehension and skill acquisition.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Regularly assist with evaluation of the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback surveys, and performance metrics.
  • Identify areas for improvement and update training materials and methodologies accordingly.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure that training programs adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Emphasize adherence to safety protocols and procedures during training sessions to minimize risks and accidents in the distribution environment.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, evaluations, and certifications.
  • Generate reports on training effectiveness, participant progress, and any issues or challenges encountered.
  • Communicate regularly with Leadership to provide updates on training initiatives and outcomes

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent years of experience in a related field preferred

Experience:

Proven experience in distribution operations, preferably in a supervisory or training capacity of at least 3 years.

Strong understanding of distribution processes, inventory management principles, and warehouse operations.

Skills:

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.

Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing training materials and documentation.
