Conduct and Manage Employee Training Manage and track employee required training and associated recordkeeping. Manage physical and digital files, digital Leaning Management System. Conduct in-person training in classroom and field settings. This includes but is not limited to orientation and annual refresher training, heavy equipment operational assessments and authorization, on-the-job coaching, and safety meetings. Coordinate training with appropriate third party when necessary. Contribute to the continued improvement of existing training material and development of new programs as new or modified operations are adopted. Incident Response and Investigation Record, investigate, and analyze incidents, near-misses, and other unsafe acts and conditions. Assist with and direct immediate post-incident response, scene securement, information collection, and notification. This may include assisting in the transport of employees in need of medical aid/examination. Identify and further investigate contributing factors. Conduct interviews with involved personnel and witnesses. Preserve and collect evidence. Conduct formal root-cause analysis when appropriate. Formulate corrective and preventative action plan with support of operational and Safety, Health, Environmental management. Conduct or Support Duties Pertaining to Environmental Compliance and Protection Understand and monitor compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements pertaining to site operations. Identify gaps and work with facility manager, VP Safety, Health, Environmental, and environmental consultants to implement corrective actions. Assist with coordinating emergency release response and reporting to regulatory authorities. Assist site management with completion of periodic inspections, visual monitoring, stormwater sample collection, and all other activities pertaining to environmental protection as required by State, Federal, and Local laws, regulations, codes, and ordinances, facility permit(s), SWPPP, and SPCC. Maintain organized files of all required records. Assist with updating SWPPP and SPCC in concert with applicable site and regulation changes. Maintain communication with environmental consultants to ensure SWPPP/SPCC accurately reflect on-site operations. Conduct or support periodic required review of site-specific SWPPP and SPCC.
