(OTSI) has an immediate opening for an Azure Cloud Engineer.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing infrastructureoperations and support during the transition

Overseeing cloud operations anddesigning infrastructure for new workloads

Continuously improving andmaturing cloud services

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: In-depth understanding ofvarious cloud computing models, including Infrastructure as a Service(IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Public, Private, and Hybrid clouds

Proven experience in deployingand managing cloud-based solutions on Azure

Strong understanding ofcompute, network, server, storage, and database

Proficiency in deploying and managingAzure services, including but not limited to Azure Active Directory, AzureSentinel, Azure Firewall, Defender for Cloud, Azure Virtual Desktop, andAzure Log Analytics

Expertise in Microsoft Entra IDconfiguration, including identity management, access control policies, andintegration with on-premises Active Directory environments

Hands-on experience withInfrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform/Terraform Cloud) forautomating the deployment and management of Azure resources

Strong scripting skills (e.g.,PowerShell, Terraform/HCL) for automation tasks and the development ofcustom scripts to streamline Azure infrastructure management anddeployment processes

Strong understanding of networksecurity principles and experience implementing network security controlswithin Azure environments, including firewall configurations, networksegmentation, and secure connectivity options

Experience configuringcentralized logging and monitoring solutions, including Azure Monitor andAzure Sentinel, to provide visibility into the Azure environment,facilitate real-time monitoring, and enable threat detection and response

Familiarity with virtualizationtechnologies and best practices, particularly in the context of AzureVirtual Desktop infrastructure deployment and management

Ability to troubleshoot complexissues within Azure environments, identify root causes, and implementeffective solutions to ensure optimal performance, reliability, andsecurity

Excellent documentation skillswith the ability to clearly document architecture designs, implementationplans, and operational procedures

Experience with Windows Serveroperating system administration

Experience with ActiveDirectory and related directory services

Familiarity with ITIL andservice management best practices and leading platforms (such asServiceNow)

Experience collaborating withcross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirementsinto technology solutions

Demonstrates knowledge oftechnology project risks and strategies for managing and mitigating them

Demonstrates strong written,oral, and presentation skills with the ability to discuss highly technicalconcepts to all audiences, ranging from non-technical people toexecutive-level technical decision-makers
