Your consultative skills will map out the 'promised land' for clients, illustrating the long-term benefits of a robust privacy program. Additionally, your expertise in crafting compelling business cases will be crucial in illustrating the value and ROI of the solutions proposed, encouraging clients to undertake the step-by-step journey required to achieve it. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain deep expertise in the data privacy landscape, including understanding the impacts of GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations on businesses. • Engage with C-level executives to establish credibility and demonstrate how our comprehensive privacy solutions address their strategic needs, including the ability to create and present compelling business cases. • Execute a consultative sales process that assesses clients' needs, illustrates a vision for a complete privacy program, and develops tailored proposals. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, presales, and service delivery to drive successful outcomes and client satisfaction. • Utilize advanced negotiation skills to finalize contracts with terms that optimize benefits for both clients and the organization, keeping in mind the average deal value in excess of $250K. • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of sales activities within the CRM system. • Participate in industry events, staying current with emerging trends and expanding your professional network. Key Accountabilities • Business Development: Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through effective prospecting, lead generation, and networking. Implement strategic sales initiatives that broaden the market footprint and garner new client engagements. • Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders in various industries, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in data privacy solutions. Utilize these relationships to uncover new sales opportunities and build a sustainable pipeline. • Revenue Growth: Develop and execute robust sales strategies aimed at achieving and surpassing sales targets. Drive the revenue growth by securing new contracts and nurturing existing client relationships to explore potential upgrades and extensions. • Sales Strategy Implementation: Accountable for the creation and execution of detailed sales plans that clearly define goals, tactics, and metrics for measuring success. Adjust strategies in real time to respond to market dynamics and competitive pressures. Required Qualifications & Skills • 3-5 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in privacy program solutions or a closely related field. • Capable of conducting strategic account planning and executing at a high level. • Proficiency in CRM software to manage and track sales activities. • Demonstrable success in meeting and exceeding a sales quota in excess of $2M. • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions and their value propositions effectively. Desired Skills • Experience with face-to-face customer engagement at all corporate levels. • A clean driving license and the ability to travel extensively. • Industry certifications such as CIPP/E, CISSP, or sales methodology certifications (SPIN, Challenger Sale, MEDPICC). • Existing industry relationships that can be leveraged for expanding sales opportunities.
