TRANSPLANT QUALITY/PI COORDINATOR

Supports quality management and performance improvement efforts for Solid Organ Transplant Services with responsibility for separate Heart, Lung, Liver and Kidney/Pancreas programs. Responsible for analysis of data from internal and external sources and presentation for quality management. Reviews and interprets data to ensure data integrity. Oversees all aspects of data collection and reporting. Provides physician and staff training regarding definitions and requirements for reporting of transplant data elements. Provides input on the performance of transplant team members regarding timeliness and accuracy of data reporting and documentation of regulatory compliance. Provides key support for all program Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Education
Bachelors Degree: Health care discipline, Informatics or related field of study (Required)
Other: Graduate certificate in Healthcare Quality and Safety or equivalent (Required)
Masters Degree: Health care discipline, informatics or related field of study (Preferred)
Experience
3 Years experience in Health Care (Required)
General Experience in Healthcare quality and/or data management (Preferred)
License/Certifications
CPHQ - Cert Prof Healthcare Quality (Preferred)
