We strive to hire a top notch assistant. An ideal candidate would have at least two years of surgical dental assisting experience and a passion for surgery. We are looking for a rockstar with a positive, upbeat attitude, willing to put in hard work and dedicated to achieving the team goal. This opportunity will require our assistant to hit the ground running from the start. Setting up the back office, which will include determining operational workflow, sterile room organization and collaboration with the team to provide an incredible service.

We are looking for our next Surgical Dental Assistant / Digital Support Technician for our Denver CO practice Our Support Tech ensures efficiency and effectiveness in the day to day of the lab and chairside with Dr. This is a great opportunity for the right Dental assistant to get trained on being a dental lab support technician and digital DA.

Surgical Dental Assistant / Digital Support Technician Job Duties:

  • Assist Dr with all surgical procedure related procedures in the lab and operatory
  • Print STL files and remove supports from printed prosthetic
  • Pour impressions, make bite blocks and polish traditional dentures
  • Intraoral scanning on all patients.
  • Pack and track all cases coming in and out of the office.
  • Assist with taking impressions.
  • Characterize PMMA/Temp prints.
  • Troubleshoot/Clean printer(s).
  • Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
  • Utilizes and conserves supplies and equipment to complete anything that the Dr requests in the lab script
  • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; implementing changes
  • Updates dental laboratory technician job knowledge and skills by participating in educational opportunities, including, working with the Centralized Lab Technician to continuously improve and master your craft
  • Enhances dental laboratory reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

RequirementsQualifications Dental Assistant/ Digital Suport Technician,
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required1-2 years of experience working in a lab1-3 years experience being a Dental Assistant, preferably for a prosthodontist Full understanding of all steps of dentures/implantsAbility to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment, standing for long periods of time, etc.
