A Field Service Engineer should have at least five (5) years of experience in the field or in a related area.•A Field Service Engineer should be proficient in the following: Solid knowledge and use of precision measuring tools, Materials and Safety, Job Planning, Rotating Equipment Mechanical Experience with disassembling and reassembling complex assemblies as the project lead, understand equipment operational requirements, training in crane and rigging and heavy lift procedures. Directs and leads other workers.•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.•Ability to author routine reports and correspondence.•Ability and understanding how to use measuring tools like dial indicator, Vernier caliper and micrometer.•Ability to speak and write in English is required. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.•Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.•Ability to adopt and live up to the company's Core Values of being Dependable, Open, Innovative and Dynamic.Physical Requirements: Most of the time this position requires being in one place for several hours to hold and maneuver parts and/or equipment. Field service jobs which involve climbing, walking, crawling, extended periods of time standing or working in small spaces. May be required to work in adverse working environment, including but not limited to intense heat, cold, windy, dusty, and dirty conditions.
