A favorite fixture in Boulder since 1960, Frasier is an independent, non-profit (501(c)(3), mission driven, CARF accredited continuing care retirement community. Many professional chefs and longtime restaurant and hotel cooks are finding their place in senior dining more and more for reasons such as:

If youre tired of working until midnight cooking the same thing over and over again for unreasonable wages with no health insurance or benefits, we ARE the right choice for you. **Shifts include: 6am-2:30pm and 10:45am-7:15pm.**

We are continuing our hiring process during the COVID-19 pandemic. If selected, you will start as soon as you complete the hiring process (Background, Drug screen, and Reference assessments)

**Here is what you will need:**

* A minimum of one-year professional cooking experience, preferably in a health care setting

* Excellent customer service skills essential

* Must be able to speak, read and write the English language

* Must have high school education or equivalent

* Must have ability to work independently, making sound decisions

* Must successfully pass organization required background screening

* Must successfully complete organization health screening requirements

**Here is what you will do:**

* Prepares menu items within allotted time period using appropriate standardized recipes.

* Assures optimal quality, temperature and appearance of meals.

* Adheres to special diet needs and is knowledgeable of allergen information.

* Adheres to food safety and workplace safety standards, policies and procedures as regulated by department.

* Ensures proper sanitation of kitchen and equipment following department standards, policies and procedures. Exercises proper use of all equipment.

* Follows uniform guidelines.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

We work with a vulnerable population, and to protect our residents, the COVID-19 vaccine, annual Influenza (Flu) vaccine, Drug Screen and Background Check are conditions of employment.

**Compensation and Benefits**

* Pay Range: $16 - 20 per hour

Frasier offers a comprehensive benefits package to all employees working at least 32 hours per week. Frasiers benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, supplemental life insurance, employee assistance program, a 401K retirement plan and PTO.
