Job Description

Essential Job Duties:
  1. Weighs and destroys medical waste.
  2. Keeps Medical waste and recycling area clean.
  3. Perform repair services on an irregular basis.
  4. Perform routine maintenance, lubrication and cleaning to equipment on a daily basis.
  5. Start and stop various pieces of equipment.
  6. Required to operate, repair and maintain the SSM.
  7. Performs any other jobs assigned.
  8. Adhere to all policies and procedures for packaging Medical Waste.
  9. Report problems to supervisor in a timely manner.
  10. Required to wear P.P.E.
Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:
  1. Required to use a computer to perform certain jobs.
  2. Picks up document and records from depts. And files them in the appropriate location.
  3. Treat everyone with respect.


Qualifications

Job Specifications:
  • Education: High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Experience: Two 2 years or more work experience. Valid Driver's License.
