Job Summary:

RCM&D is currently searching for a Healthcare Risk Management Consultant in our SISCO department. This position is responsible for developing and providing healthcare risk management consulting services and products by applying the risk management process.
A Day in the Life:
Analyze and make recommendations to clients for exposures leading to potential liability losses by reviewing client losses, seeking information on common risks and exposures leading to those losses.
Communicate legislative, regulatory and technical developments efficient and effectively to clients.
Compose professional written reports for clients including the risk assessment report and risk analysis responses.
Participate in new Business Development activities.
Comply with E&O Plus, legal and regulatory requirements. Support our clients with claim issues when requested.
What Youll Need:
Bachelors Degree required
Two to three years of healthcare risk management experience, and professional and general liability claims handling experience.
Technical expertise
CPHRM preferred
Registered Nurse licensure or other healthcare professional license, such as Physical Therapy are preferred.
Who You Are:
Possess flexibility, adaptability, and motivation to contribute to a growing organization.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance workloads efficiently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and deliverables.
Skill in understanding and interpreting legislation, regulations and legal documents and to translate these into effective operational systems.
Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and insurance companies.
Active drivers license, as driving to client meetings is a requirement.
