Under general supervision but according to established policies and procedures, operates a cash receipt system to record, collect, and distribute cash transactions. Performs a variety of bookkeeping duties and closes out cash register at end of scheduled shift.Education:

Experience:
Six months' experience cashiering in order to be familiar with cash register functions
Skills:
•Skill in basic financial analysis for bill computation, payment processing and discrepancy recognition
•Skill in written and oral communication
•Ability to perform non-complex arithmetic in receiving money and making change
•Ability to operate the cash office with minimal supervision or assistance.
