Position Title: Solution Architect

Position Summary:

The Solution Architect bridges the gap between business problems and technology solutions. Finding the best technology-based solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems. The Solution architect is responsible for describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the technology to project stakeholders, as well as defining the features, phases, and solution requirements. Ultimately the solutions architect will provide the specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered. This individual is brought in on large, complex implementations to consult on overall program and configuration design. The Solutions Architect will work with the implementation team, including Project Managers & Business Systems Analysts, as needed to develop requirements.

Responsibilities

Monument consulting is a Contingent Workforce Management firm, and our solution architects must be able to support the solutioning, configuration, and rollout of the key VMS (vendor management system) tools leveraged by our clients. Monument's solution architects must understand the architecture of a VMS and know how to design and configure integrations within the VMS. The Solutions Architect will lead the requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and deployment of VMS design, as well as system integrations per the assigned project.
  • Responsible for designing, describing, and managing the software solution configuration to solve client specific business problems through the designated VMS system.
  • Develop and present process flows to client leadership team.
  • Provide expertise to business analysts for complex client consulting engagements
  • Design & build requirements for all integrations. Types of integrations include Single Sign On (SSO), Foundational Data feeds, CW feeds, User feeds, and Invoice Feeds
  • Design, develop, and execute on all integration testing tasks with VMS software partner
  • Effectively communicate specifications between client and technology provider for the solution that is defined, managed, and delivered.
Qualifications
  • Intermediate: 2-5 Years' Experience
  • Experience with large-scale project implementations serving as the key lead of all design and configuration decisions
  • Advanced configuration knowledge of VMS systems including Fieldglass, Beeline, CCW (Coupa Contingent Workforce), VNDLY
  • Experience with the design and build of system integrations with the VMS
  • Experience serving in a client-facing role to solution business process decisions, lead client meetings, and meet with key stakeholders
  • Experience creating process flow documentation using relevant project software (VISIO, Lucidchart)
  • Experience building test script documentation
