THE RUNDOWN
Playfly Sports is looking for a Manager, Partnership Services to join our Villanova Sports Properties team.
The successful candidate will work out of the Villanova Sports Properties offices on campus and be an integral part of the client services team that manages the high-level activation, fulfillment and execution of corporate partnership agreements. This individual will prepare high-level sales presentation materials for prospective corporate partners as well as recap decks for existing corporate sponsors. This person will also manage several "project-based" initiatives, including the management of all sponsor ticket inventory, acting as the property lead for partner social campaigns, and overseeing the internship program. Lastly, they will share the ideals to uphold and support the team leading by example with a focus on a culture of hard work, creativity and efficiency - always building on a team-first credo.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned corporate partner accounts through the full life cycle, from activation kickoff and fulfillment through contract renewal.
- Develop key marketing objectives with clients via thorough needs assessments and a collaborative internal sales and renewal process
- Work as a part of the client services team to meet and exceed expectations regarding fulfillment and execution
- Responsible for fulfilling benefits per corporate partner agreements and developing relationship between partners and the property, along with entertaining sponsors in various settings
- Obtain and manage all necessary proof-of-performance records
- Manage hospitality, special event, and ticket needs for all corporate partners
- Manage the Football Coach's Weekly Radio Show
- Manage intern program for Villanova Sports Properties team
- Work with athletic staff to identify key marketing initiatives that can be developed into sponsorable assets
- Work with athletic staff to ensure fulfillment objectives are being communicated and delivered upon
- Oversee social campaigns for client services team and ensure campaigns are reaching fulfilment with Athletics Marketing team
- Manage administrative tasks related to day-to-day office operations
- Represent Villanova Sports Properties, Villanova University, and Playfly Sports Properties in a professional manner
- Bachelor's degree required
- Three (3) years minimum experience in a sports multi-media environment, specifically in a sponsorship activation role
- Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with clients, athletic department personnel, and other senior executives
- Demonstrated professional sales presentation skills
- Ability to generate and present ideas/concepts succinctly and provide creative solutions to prospects/clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Powerpoint, and Adobe Suite Programs
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk up stairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Be available for game night/weekends, evening athletic events and coach's shows.
- Be available to travel for client presentations
- Be available for hours and duties in correlation to the client fulfillment responsibilities of Playfly Sports Properties
