ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide product development expertise for a fast-growing and dynamic fintech. Run backlog refinement for cross-functional delivery teams. Write detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure clear communication of changes, enhancements, and new functionalities. Ability to create documentation using company standards and industry best practices. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define need and requirements for feature/core product enhancements and new feature development. Sequence and plan core functionality and feature development, leverage MVP approaches iterating/optimizing toward scaled rollout. Work closely with design, developers, and QA to ensure development meets functional needs. Monitor project progress and performance, implementing adjustments as needed to ensure excellence and client satisfaction. Lead key projects from concept through planning to development, launch, and post-launch support. Define the product requirements, roadmap, and manage product backlog to ensure engineering productivity and properly set business expectations. Prepare, manage, and maintain product documentation, including user and programmer guides, release notes, and data sheets. Own the overall project plan and scope, ensuring that timelines, milestones, and deliverables meet client expectations and company standards. Working in an agile development environment, participate and run sprint grooming, planning, feature/bug prioritization and requirement definition processes. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field, is a requirement. 5+ years’ experience working with software developers, engineers, QA, and UX teams. 5+ years’ experience with consumer-facing digital products/solutions. Expert in end-to-end technology and user-centered design and development. Solid understanding of how different technologies and systems work together to enable a successful product launch. Highly quantitative, analytical, and business-minded (SQL, Python). Understanding of Agile product development and working with diverse teams. Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, analytics tools, etc. Have an end-to-end view of the entire product ecosystem - backend systems to UI. Understand the fundamentals of product economics, develop new ideas, and test concepts.
