We are hiring a Business Development Manager in Detroit, MI. The Business Development Manager is responsible for prospecting new accounts in securing or increasing the crane inspections. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a history of prioritizing customer satisfaction as well as managing B2B sales.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Identify and help develop strategic relationships with partners and potential customers.
· Conduct presentations with knowledge of products and services.
· Develop repeatable sales model for success and growth with innovative thinking and strategies.
· Establish rapport and build strong relationships with all levels or stakeholders.
· Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging opportunities.
· Provide regular reports and updates to the management team on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights.
· Work closely with internal teams.
Requirements: Education & Qualifications:
· College degree preferred, not required.
· Experience in the crane, wire rope, chain and rigging industries is preferred.
· B2B sales experience.
· Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Flexibility to travel within the region.
· Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
