The Social Media Director at Nuvolum is an energetic individual who will collaborate with the Accounts team and clientele base. You are a natural communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. They rise to every challenge to solve a problem, feature a good idea, and uphold the positive image of our clients.

As a Social Media Director at Nuvolum, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to build and maintain a positive public image for our clients. You will be responsible for innovative and groundbreaking ideas and will heavily utilize AI-driven tools and technologies to enhance and streamline our social media efforts. Your strategic thinking, creativity, and technological acumen will be essential in achieving our goals.

You will play a critical role in growing Nuvolum's extensive portfolio of healthcare and technology clients through strategic social media platforms that drive local and national attention.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute an innovative social media strategy that aligns with Nuvolum's brand and business objectives. Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve.
  2. Content Creation: Create engaging and compelling content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. Experiment with different content formats, such as videos, infographics, and interactive posts.
  3. Community Building: Foster and engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly. Build and maintain a strong online presence for Nuvolum, ensuring a positive and authentic brand image.
  4. Innovative Campaigns: Conceptualize and execute creative and innovative social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social media into broader marketing initiatives.
  5. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve results
  6. Trendspotting: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and platforms. Recommend and implement emerging trends that align with Nuvolum's goals.
  7. Social Listening: Conduct social listening to gather insights, identify customer sentiments, and proactively address issues or opportunities.
  8. Budget Management: Manage the social media budget efficiently, ensuring the best ROI on paid campaigns and promotions.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications
  • Deep experience in developing organic and paid social campaigns using Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and other channels
  • Proven B2B & B2C experience in building social strategies, deploying successful campaigns, and cultivating audiences
  • Strong skills in marketing communications and digital marketing
  • Demonstrated efficiency in running multiple initiatives, vendors, and other key players as part of the social media practice
  • Analytic skills with the ability to analyze and provide deep insights
  • Effective interpersonal skills and excellent oral/written presentation skills
Other Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2 - 4 years of social media experience in the B2B & B2C, healthcare, technology, and space. Candidates without a degree with significant experience will also be considered for the role.
  • Experience in the Health Tech space or in oral surgery, plastic surgery, or similar is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of social media tools, community platforms, and measurement, advocacy, and training/education platforms (experience working with Salesforce Social Studio, Sprout, Bit.ly, Basic Adobe Creative Suite knowledge, Canva, Various AI tools, and other technologies)
  • Experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment (Agency experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet high standards for quality and accuracy
  • Focused attention to detail and ability to multitask, handling multiple complex, multi-phase projects at different stages

This is an in-person position located in Jackson Square, San Francisco with the potential to work occasionally remotely from the larger San Francisco Bay Area.
