Busy outpatient physician’s office in Burlingame looking for a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. Our clinic provides Primary Care, Endocrinology, and Obesity Management.

Job Duties:

Performs patient history and physical examinations, diagnoses, treats, and manages acute and chronic health problems.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems, and health care needs.

Prescribes medications, including controlled substances, or other forms of treatment as needed.

Makes referrals to physician and other healthcare providers as necessary.

Documents assessment, management and education clearly, concisely, and legibly within medical record EHR.

Demonstrates strong communication skills with patient and significant others to provide feedback regarding findings and treatment plan.

Provides education to patients and families.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Current CA Nurse Practitioner license or Current CA Physician Assistant license

Current DEA

Additional helpful qualifications (not required):

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EPIC)

Certified Diabetes Educator or desire to obtain

Interest in Diabetes Management

Interest in Obesity Management
