Description
Beemac Logistics is looking for an Agent Recruitment Manager to join our team. This individual will work to find new and creative ways to prospect, recruit, and onboard new freight broker agents. The ideal candidate will have transportation logistics/freight brokerage experience whether that be in agent recruiting, or a former agent looking to leverage their experience.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize different recruiting platforms and job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, JazzHR) to post agent openings and review active applicants.
- Network and develop relationships in the freight brokerage industry to build a talent pool.
- Utilize charisma and personality to communicate the Beemac brand by telephone, face to face and through video.
- Maintain and track pipeline and candidate progress.
- See agent candidates through the interview and offer process, including negotiation of compensation/financial terms.
- Work closely with the recruiting and training teams to make sure all new agents are on-boarded and trained as needed.
- Maintain relationships with company agents and regularly follow-up once they are hired.
- Manage and analyze agent turnover, outreach and marketing success, etc.
- Actively participate in scheduled recruiting meetings.
- Research competitor employment branding techniques.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in transportation logistics/freight brokerage either as a recruiter or a current/past agent.
- Substantial network of agents/sales representatives in the industry preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must be familiar with 1099 employment parameters and contract negotiation.
- Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to engage active and passive candidates through social media.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong time management skills as well as be an effective multi-tasker.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills.
- Must have strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Must have good problem solving and decision-making skills along with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Must be able to work M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM along with odd hours as it is not always feasible to handle all recruiting or marketing duties during regular office hours
- Must be able to travel to branch office locations to conduct various meeting and/or professional events
