Responsibilities of the Account Receivable Accountant:

  • Prepare and enter customer invoices into the accounting system
  • Apply payments to customer accounts
  • Soft collections call to existing customers
  • Assist with billing
  • File documentation related to transactions including invoices
  • Keep records of project budgets and spending
  • Communicate with Project Managers, clients, and vendors regarding billing and account-related inquiries

Preferred Qualifications of the Account Receivable Accountant:

  • Prior experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or other relevant experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Excel and Accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
