IT Operations Intern

This application is for students interested in a IT Operations Intern Role. Our program is 10 weeks, full-time, beginning on May 19th . This year, our internships are hosted in the following locations: Clearwater, FL . All of our intern projects and goals vary based on major and department and make a valuable and measurable impact on our business. In exchange (or beyond your assigned work), you will be able to network with our top executives during our speaker series, participate in intern bonding events with your peers, job shadow other departments, and get a feel for what it's like to join a global IT distributor. What We're Looking For: Business and IT Majors Current college student: rising juniors and above, including May 2025 graduates Eligible to work in the U.S. - sponsorship is not provided Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for a total of 10 weeks during the program Ability to work at one of the listed locations in a hybrid setting Students who align with our shared values: Inclusion, Collaboration, Integrity, Excellence Experience with Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Example job duties and projects include: Problem Management: Assisting in the identification and analysis of recurring incidents to determine root causes and implement permanent solutions. This includes participating in problem-solving meetings and documenting findings. Incident Management: Assisting in the identification, logging, and resolution of incidents. This includes monitoring incident queues, escalating issues as needed, and ensuring timely resolution to minimize business impact. Reporting and Documentation: Preparing reports on incident trends, service performance, and other key metrics. This also involves maintaining and updating IT service management documentation, such as process guides and knowledge base articles. Meetings and Collaboration: Participating in meetings with stakeholders, discussing ongoing issues, and collaborating with other departments to improve processes. Training and Development: Participating in training sessions to improve knowledge of IT service management practices and tools. This also includes shadowing senior team members to gain practical experience. Prior to being eligible to start your internship, you will be subject to a background check.
