Merchandising Analyst

Inventory Management Specialist This position is responsible for tracking and the disposition of an on-hand inventory that is on hold, aging, obsolete, expiring or non-moving, ensuring that vendor credits are processed and reported to Finance and various reporting responsibilities. Responsibilities include: Providing technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects. Researching each item in inventory systems. Working with Buyers and Operations to determine options to move dated product. Holding weekly meetings, updating comments and distributing. Completing VRE process in SUS. Communicating with Finance, Buyers, Operations, Vendors, and Carriers to have goods moved from our warehouse. Researching through inventory systems to determine why the product is on hold. Distributing list to Buyers and reporting comments to management. Attending Weekly Shrink Meeting. Working with Buyers, Sales, and Operations to move product. Working with Sales Credits and Brand Audit Credits. Communicating with vendors to get credits owed and report to Finance. Managing and determining dumps and donations from the Dated List and On Hold Reports. Working with Inventory Control and charities through the direction of Finance. Qualifications include: Education: HSD or equivalent Experience: 1-year purchasing or inventory experience required Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and excellent organizational and follow up skills required. AS400 experience preferred.
