This role is ideal for passionate nurses who value meaningful patient interactions and are eager to continue developing their skills while balancing other commitments.Coverage: Chicopee/Springfield areaWhy Choose Elara Caring?When you join our PRN team, you'll experience:Flexible scheduling that adapts to your availability.1:1 patient care for meaningful, personalized interactions.A supportive environment focused on collaboration and learning.Opportunities for continuing education and skill enhancement.Competitive pay designed to value your contributions.Comprehensive orientation and training to ensure your success.The ability to make a meaningful impact in your community.Your Responsibilities as a Behavioral Health RN:As a PRN RN, you'll play a crucial role in meeting patients' needs, providing care, and supporting their behavioral health journey by:Performing assessments to identify physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.Collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop and implement individualized care plans.Making initial evaluations and revisiting plans as patient needs evolve.Communicating changes in patient conditions to the Clinical Supervisor and other team members.Educating patients and families on behavioral health philosophies and symptom management.Supervising and documenting the work of Behavioral Health Aides and LPNs.Offering compassionate support during end-of-life care, including bereavement assessments.What We're Looking ForWe're seeking adaptable, compassionate nurses who are ready to make a difference on a PRN basis. Ideal candidates will have:A current, unrestricted state RN license.1+ years of clinical nursing experience.A dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.Willingness to travel within the branch/office coverage area.An Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).Previous experience in Home Health, Hospice, or with Homecare HomeBase (preferred).Your Flexibility, Your Growth, Your ImpactAt Elara Caring, we recognize that flexibility is key for PRN nurses.
