Role Overview:

Reporting to the Product Development Manager, the Product Development Assistant/Associate will assist with product development duties for all womens and mens Denim categories.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the development process by creating and distributing packages in the office. Track incoming packages from overseas vendors. Troubleshoot customs issues with courier.
  • Manage style updates/ fabric information in various Excel Charts and Google Sheets.
  • Help monitor, track, and check in samples from Proto stage through SMS stage.
  • Assist the team with day-to-day communication with the vendors.
  • Partner with design and fabric mills on color palette creation, distribution and color approvals.
  • Assist with production handover binders, organizing SMS swatches/trims
  • Keep PD area organized inclusive of submits, fabric, trims, garments
  • Processing and Issuing of POs in Full Circle.
  • Commute between our 2 offices (Culver City and Commerce) and local vendors on a need to basis- to transport samples.

Professional skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Bachelors degree in Fashion preferred.
  • Have a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks.
  • Detail-oriented and must have excellent follow through skills and be able to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working with Full Circle a plus.
  • Flexibility to work between our Culver City and Commerce offices
