is the single global household goods movement manager of over 300,000 Military Household Goods moves per year for USTRANSCOM and the U.S. Armed Forces, Department of Defense civilians, U.S. Coast Guard, and their families. Director of Operations Excellence

is responsible for HomeSafe Alliance Global Household Goods Contract PWS metrics, Key Performance Indicators, and Contract Deliverable Reports are tracked, achieved, and reported to HomeSafe Leadership and US Government TRANSCOM Contracting Officer. The Global Household Goods Contract is executed by HomeSafe Alliance the single move manager for 300,000 continental United States and International Household Goods shipments a year for Department of Defense Service Members, Coast Guard, select DoD civilians and their families. RESPONSIBILITIES: Director of Operations Excellence responsibilities include achievement of Profit and Loss goals for Revenue and Profit Margin, Optimization of processes, document standard work, develop and refine process maps, IT software development story board requirements, IT software user testing, optimization of truck loads, improved on time pack, pickup, and delivery. Leads LEAN process improvement efforts and standardized work synchronization across all HomeSafe functions and departments. Lead implementation of Transportation Management System capability for crate and freight alternate shipments. Focus on GHC U.S. Government Contract customer satisfaction, cost, schedule, delivery, safety, process improvements, training, quality control management program, and software development to operational written requirements standards. Leverage visual management and data analytics tools to improve operations management near real time dashboards and reports. Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED

: Skill required are undergraduate degree, 15 years of experience in logistics management, 5 plus year in program management with P&L responsibility. Preferred MBA or master’s in supply chain management or Transportation Management. Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements. Requires a deep understanding of the Global Household Goods Contract Performance Work Statement and HomeSafe Connect software. PMI PMP Certification preferred. Required certificate as LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. People person that loves to build and develop cross functional teams to solve problems and deliver excellent results.
