Health Informatics Analyst

WinnMed is seeking to hire a Health Informatics Analyst in the Information Technology department
This position is responsible for the implementation and optimization of clinical information solutions to enable delivery of safe, effective and high-quality patient care. Assists with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the practice management component of the information system and assures that there is a coordinated effort and communication between appropriate individuals. This individual will also be responsible to educate users of the healthcare system and serve as a liaison between the practice management aspect of the system and the administrative and technical aspect to support quality healthcare outcomes.
Required On-Call Rotation:
- Rotating every 9th week for general information technology needs
- Rotating every 3rd week for Epic needs
- Bachelors degree in Health Informatics, Health Sciences, Information Science, Business or related field required
- Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-year experience in a Health Care environment or relevant clinical experience required
- EPIC certification or willingness to obtain certification is required
- Experience with Electronic Health record from a care provider and/or an application perspective beneficial.
- Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.
