Demonstrated knowledge of varied hardware transmission technologies including rs232, rs485, rs422, USB and Ethernet Expert computer skills (MS Office Suite, proprietary software, etc.) Expert knowledge of network routing and switching Expert knowledge of fiber optic installation, termination, and troubleshooting Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repair: Assume responsibility for maintaining and repairing a diverse range of automation and electrical equipment related to upstream onshore oil and gas production. On-Site Automation Support: Provide on-site automation support for upstream onshore oil and gas production operations. Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical resource for facility control systems and field instrumentation, including level, pressure, flow, vibration, and other instruments. Compliance and Standards: Ensure maintenance activities adhere to relevant industry and corporate Process Control standards. Follow best practices for PLC programming, standards, and management of change (MOC) procedures. Strategic Improvement: Identify problem areas within instrumentation and control systems, offering alternative solutions to enhance automation network design and philosophies. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams during design reviews and process hazard analysis.
