The Ultra Supply Chain function manages the processes associated with Indirect and Direct Procurement of goods and materials required to meet the operational demands of the business and the logistics of ensuring that materials are available for operations, and the completed products/services are delivered to the customer. Material Attendants/Handlers are designated by the Company as necessary for the efficient flow of material from stock to floor. This position will be responsible for maintaining handler route given, delivering of raw materials timely and efficiently, cardboard disposal, scrap processing & filling in for other material handlers when necessary.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

Supply Chain Management in Ultra is responsible for the management of the flow of goods and services and includes all processes that transform raw materials into final products. It involves the active management of the businesses supply based activities to maximize customer value and gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

-Ensure all material is marked properly for movement to the production floor.

-Ensure KAN-BAN and BIN card quantities are being pulled and delivered to the floor in a timely matter.

- Ensure material requested by the customer in assigned area is being pulled at posted pull times (2 x's each day) and filled by the stockroom, and ready for floor within the 1-hour window.

-Must maintain fork truck certification.

-Work with team lead or group lead to resolve any material issues.

- Fill in for other material handlers when needed.

-Process scrap in a timely matter.

-Keep area de-trashed, stocked up, and lines cleared from finished products.

High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ years related experience.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of weight.
Must be detail oriented.
Must have good organizational and retention skills.
Must have good written & verbal communications skills.
Must maintain accurate records.
Must maintain a fork truck driver's permit.
