Position Summary:

The Warehouse Floor Specialist will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations in the Warehouse while leading assigned projects. Start Time is 8:00AM and $20.00 per hour.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading projects as assigned by supervisor or shift manager (i.e., auditing, product movement, EPA compliance, display unit conversions, etc.)
  • Acting as one of the main resources for Warehousers needing information related to overall Warehouse Operation
  • Locking & unlocking the warehouse
  • Assisting Warehouse leadership with ensuring a safe work environment
  • Performs the duties of a Warehouser (picks orders, loads & unloads trailers), as needed
  • Ability to lift 50-60 pounds repetitively throughout the day
  • Providing backup to Shipping Office as required
  • Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Leadership
To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:
  • Inventory Control Experience Required
  • Knowledge of Warehouse processes & procedures
  • Previous experience with inventory functions of Warehouse Management Systems (SAP or Koerber preferred)
  • Thorough knowledge of cycle counting and stock verification processes
  • Must be able to work independently and make quick decisions in a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail; effective organization and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in a fast paced work environment
  • Computer skills; must be able to accurately enter data and do basic math
  • Previous project management / leadership experience in a Warehouse environment preferred
  • Certified training on various material handling equipment
